Kenneth H Leake
After graduating from Texas State University I went into humanitarian aid work in Latin America. From there I joined the US Army after the 9/11 attacks, serving two tours in and around Baghdad. I then used the GI Bill to go back to school and become a Paramedic, and worked on a MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit) for a number of years. I then pivoted to working Security and Executive Protection.
Now? I'm ready for a less dramatic job. One where no one is going to die. One that brings beauty into the world. One that allows us to feel deeply and suck all the marrow out of life, as Henry David Thoreau would say.
